The challenge pack arrives like a letter from a pen pal.

Step 1

Sign Up & Get Your Challenge Pack

Register before the season opens and we mail a physical challenge pack to your door - a printed theme list for the whole season, a sticker sheet, and an optional disposable camera. It feels like Christmas morning, but for photographers.

Printed season theme booklet mailed to your home
Optional disposable camera add-on for $12
Digital theme list sent to parent email
Private family login to the submission portal
Sibling discount - half price for the second kid

"I had to lie in the mud for this one." โ€” Eli, age 8.

Step 2

Shoot the Weekly Theme

Each week a new theme drops - "Tiny Worlds," "Morning Light," "Funny Faces," "Puddle Mirrors." Kids interpret the prompt however they want. A dandelion through a magnifying glass counts. So does a blurry photo of the dog mid-sneeze. Creativity beats perfection every single time.

New theme revealed every Sunday morning
One week to shoot, edit, and submit
Any camera allowed โ€” phone, disposable, or DSLR
Up to 3 photo submissions per theme
Light editing encouraged โ€” no rules on style
Family laughing together while reviewing photo submissions on a tablet at the kitchen table

Friday vote nights have become a family ritual.

Step 3

Submit & Vote

All entries are posted anonymously - no names, no ages, just the photographs. Families browse the week's gallery and vote for their favorites. The anonymity keeps it fair and the voting keeps families talking about what makes a great photo long after the screen is off.

Anonymous voting - no names shown during voting window
Community picks and judge picks announced each Friday
Every entry gets a written comment from a volunteer mentor
Weekly winner badge displayed on the child's profile
Families can share vote links with grandparents
Children and parents gathered at a gallery opening with printed photos displayed on white walls

A real gallery night. Real printed photos. Real proud kids.

Step 4

Celebrate at the Season Showcase

At the end of every season, every single entrant's best photo gets professionally printed and displayed at a local gallery night. Not just the winners - everyone. Parents cry. Kids strut. Grandparents take seventeen photos of the photo. It is the best night of the season.

Every entrant's best shot printed 8ร—10 and displayed
Local venue partnered in your region
Awards ceremony with handmade trophies
Personalized achievement certificate to take home
Digital gallery link to share with family forever
